| On Monday 24 September gisters.com was present at the competition's search for urban talent which drew to a close with an exciting Grand Final which took place at Po Na Na in Hammersmith. Music industry heavyweights such as Ferdy Unger-Hamilton MD of Go Beat, DJ Tim Westwood and celebrities watched & judged the ten finalists. They were also joined and supported by a huge public turnout for this prestigious and hugely anticipated event. |

MOBO Unsigned 2001, the annual nationwide star search, started earlier in the year, with the aim of finding the hottest up-and-coming talent in the genres of R&B, Garage, Hip Hop, Reggae, Jazz, Gospel & World Music. |

The prize on offer was a highly coveted recording contract from the Go Beat label (home to Gabrielle & The Architechs) and a much-coveted MOBO Award. R&B producer Tim Blacksmith (Craig David, Mis-Teeq), has offered to provide re-mixes for the winner's debut single. The garage production team Sunship, will also provide a remix for the winner's debut single. AND THE WINNER IS N'JAY |
