Bobby's comment on Agbani Darego and the Miss World 2001 contest:

Silverbird Production employed the services of Bobby as the official hair stylist of Agbani Darego for the Miss World 2001 contest. Bobby had worked with Agbani prior to the event when she contested for the Miss Universe 2001.

When Gisters asked Bobby for the reason behind Agbani's hair style, he had this to say, 'I chose the style taking into consideration her physical attributes. She has a graceful neck and a prominent facial structure, and I wanted to do something traditional.' As a result of these features, he chose a look with a height at the middle to depict SUKU which is a traditional bee-hive hairstyle.
