GISTERS
ONE ON ONE WITH FRANK OSHODI:
Q:
How did you come about Miss Darego?
A: She was introduced to me by the Pageant Manager of Silverbird
Production after she won the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria contest.
I was asked to groom her for the Miss World 2001 contest (that
is handle her make-up not only for the contest but also for the
duration of her reign as the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria).
It was very obvious when Agbani was introduced to me that she
has got all the attributes of a potential world of beauty pageant.
Being a six footer with 34-24-27 statistics, she has got a very
beautiful body that can compliment any good outfit and these I
gladly worked on.
Q:
Did you believe she could win the Miss World 2001 contest?
A:
Yes,
I believed she had a chance to win the contest
Q:
Tell us a bit about her outfit for the competition?
A: It
was a simple deep yoked outfit. The dress was chosen just for
simplicity and the preferred colour was green to portray Nigeria.
Q:
Life after Agbani's success?
A:
It has brought me to the limelight as everybody is curious to
know about my designs.
Q:
Advice to the youths?
A:
Be focused and more creative and be ready to face the challenges
of life and most importantly you must love whatever you are doing
to be in it.
Q:
Personal statement on Agbani?
A:
Agbani knows what she wants and she is respectful with very good
family values.
