Born
in 1957, Nsikak is a mixed media maverick who has consistently
sought for new ways and unusual means to forge visually-arresting
expressions.
He graduated from Institute of Management and Technology, Enugu
and returned as a lecturer until 1991 when he retired to concentrate
on full-time studio practice.
Nsikak's source of work materials is a cornucopia of colourful
plastics, ‘ankara’ (Nigerian native attire) stained-glass,
enamel paints, glue, salvaged wood to metal sheets.
Some of his collections include the Presidentila Villa (Aguda
House), Aso Villa Collection, National Gallery of Modern Arts
"Womanhood crucified".
