All Geneveive Award

Naija organisers have ways of enticing people to attend any event they organise. We dey talk about all these our promoters, award organisers and musical events organisers. These situation no be for only Naija e dey happen, but also here in London and the ‘Bush-Land’ (United States) as organisers go promise people the artistes wey dem no even know where he is based not to talk of how to get in touch with them.

A recent example happen for Yankee when on organiser arranges a night tagged “All African Awards Night” with hard earned $50 per person as gate fee. Our dear organiser don promise everyone on the event's flyers and adverts that popular Naija artistes like Genevieve Nnaji, Liz Benson, Omotola and musicians like Lagbaja, Femi Kuti and many more will be present.

As we all know say our brothers and sisters wey dey Yankee dey too far away from home, so anything Ni… before una even call the …geria dey shack dem. So despite the high gate fee dem still manage to squeeze out the dough even if to say na to do two jobs that week.

Una fit imagine the kind disappointment wey dem get when dem reach the venue to see say na only Genevieve the organiser fit bring and trust my brodas and sistas, most of who don do June 12 riot and Aluta for Niaja before dem rapala enter Yankee. We think say time don come wey we go dey tell the organisers to dey organise press conference before dem events so that the artistes wey dem say go come go talk in flesh and blood before the event make dem no dey promise us to bring people wey no even get international passport not to talk of having visa to travel abroad.
