Who say Colonial era don finish for Africa?

Some African countries are still suffering from ‘Colonial mentality’  (apology to Baba ’70).

My people come see us see trouble for wetin this single Euro currency called Euro dey cause in some African countries. Imagine we wey no be part of the European Union and we come dey get affected by this Euro fever.

Some French speaking African countries still dey depend on their colonial master, ‘France’ before they do so many things. The thing wey dey annoying past be say dem no get their own treasury to print their own money. No wonder Mobutu carry all Congo money go France and Belgium when dem no open eye.

The gist be say our brothers and sisters from the French speaking West African countries like Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Benin Republic, Togo, Senegal etc. depend on France for the printing of their currency, CFA. The currency dey in acute short supply now because France dey busy with the printing of the new Euro.

Even banks no get old CFA notes to pay out talk less of new notes wey people dey use to spray musician at occasions. But as bank and the populace dey suffer, black market operators just dey enjoy, who go blame dem, na dem say make dem country no get their own treasury?  

Evensef, we dey hear rumour say West African Nations wan do single currency too. Na wetin we go call am… 'WAFA'?  We hope our Ota president no go sign any documents wey go allow the money to be printed in France or UK
