But with the experience of the Naija cycling team at the just concluded All african Games in Abuja from the hands of the overzealous 'majamaja' (FRSC) officials wey arrest, detain and confiscate their bicycles (maybe they wan sell them to palmwine sellers) for several hours. No wonder some of our best athletes dey go represent other kontries. |

being in Abuja and trust my kontry people after dem release the
cyclists their coach tell reporters say if dem no win anything
at the games (upon all the millions wey we take build world
class velodrome for them) na the 'overzealousness'
of the FRSC men cause am. Make una no mind them, even if dem no
arrest dem wetin dem fit win? Wetin happen to the discovery of
grassroot talents in sports? We sure say if una go Lalupon,
Auchi, Fiditi, Nekede, Jebba and many more there are raw
talents there wey be say na only bicycle dem ever ride in their
life.
