NEPA STRUCK AT MINISTER'S HILL ABUJA |

anyone say democracy no good make the person think back to the Abacha
regime and tell us which one he want. Something wey no fit happen during the military regime happened recently at the exclusive Ministers' Hill in Abuja where the federal ministers live. NEPA PLC (Never Expect Power Always Please Light Candle) cut off power supply at the ministers' lodge for overnight claiming say dem no pay their electricity bill. Haba Mr Honourable! |

When yours truly asked one of the ministers wetin happen he talk say the contract wey dem sign with the federal government when dem become minister stated say dem go get free electricity, free phone services among other freebies, so he no come understand why NEPA go come cut off electricity. The minister na very humble person imagine as he no get generator for house sef. Mr honourable talk say the house no be him own but government property and he no dey ready to waste government money to buy a generator, since NEPA dey only commot light once in a while. Good talk, unlike some others wey don think say the post na for life, or wey borrow National Stadium's generator go put for him house. But na wa for NEPA too, anyway na dem work dem dey do. Who say we no dey chop the benefit of democracy? Abi this kind thing fit happen for military regime make the official wey cut the light and him family no go to jail?
