We bet say most people go dey blame the Super
Eagles aka Papa Eagles players for not honouring the
friendly match against the Egyptian national team. Even some of
you go don label dem as "old good for nothing, unpatriotic"
and every other name under the sun as usual. But the thing wey una
no know be say na dem right these boys dey fight for. The root of the problem of our football for Nigeria no be the players, but our greedy and inefficient soccer administrators. |

We hear from the grapevine say the 7million naira
given to these boys by various state governments, corporate
organisations and individuals for qualifying for the world cup
last year, no reach the boys at all. The money just develop wings all of a sudden and NFA come dey say dem use the money for "other important needs" as if dem no get government allocation. We also hear say na the supporters club bail NFA out when the boys refuse all pleas to resume training. Na the boss for the Supporters club come stand as surety for the loan before one insurance company come grant them the money. Even the cheque for the loan was written in the name of the supporters club boss. Na the same man go hand the money over to our boys for dem hotel before dem agree to resume training for the Nations Cup, before the money go missing in Action. Make we all thank the Supporters Club for saving us from these corrupt people wey dey NFA. Dem call themselves football administrators, but dem no even fit manage their own HOME.
