OMISORE - FROM DETENTION TO THE SENATE

Umh... Wonder! Wonder!! Wonder!!!

We don dey talk am say for Naija politics, anything can happen. Imagine someone wey dey for police detention to win senatorial election despite the fact say he no campaign or do anything to ask for people's vote.

This na the case of Otunba Iyiola Omisore, the ex-deputy governor of Osun state wey dey for police detention as a suspect in the murder Chief Bola Ige.
While some people dey say, for him to win an election while in police detention is a sign that he is the people's man, other people think say something serious dey wrong with our electoral process. Na im be say even Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf 'Comical Ali' or his boss Saddam Hussein fit win election for our obodo Nigeria, because of their global popularity. If na because of pity for being in prison, people pity am, yours truly no go mind to go on voluntary detention come 2007 election.
