The
one wey surprise us for Gisters na the inclusion of our one and
only Granny for athletics, Madam Mary Onyali-Omagbemi
to represent Nigeria at the on-going Olympics 2004 in Athens.
From the history, Madam Mary don dey run for Naija when most of
us still dey wear nappies in the 80s.
Dem
even say she be 36 years old, haba! This one no surprise us,
it's an African thing, it is called 'official age',
just like Kanu who is the oldest 28 years old player in the
premiership.
Sister Mary, you good o, how you dey do am, after how many kids?
you still dey kampe, if na agbo (local herbs) you
dey use, make you please prescribe am to all our orobos,
sisi mamas and African mamas wey dey town..
Carry go Mama, but if those Americans wan overtake you,
please let dem go, don't stress yourself too much, as you know
dem for don enhance their body with designer drugs.
Finally we dey use this opportunity to wish Finidi George
best of luck after retiring from football at an over riped age
of… at least he knows when to quit, the soul might be willing
but we sure say na the bones no gree bro Finidi again. Adieu!
