Marva Morris

She is voted The British Female Inventor of the year 2001, for inventing 'Helping Hand' Cream Applicator.

The "helping hand" can be use by people suffering from arthritis or having difficulty applying cream to hard to reach areas of the body. It can also be an invaluable aid to anyone with a sporting injury perhaps for whom advancing years has reduced his or her reach and suppleness. Now you can apply essential medications or ointments easily and without the risk of extra strain.

The invention idea came to Marva five years ago, while she spent sometime in hospital recovering from cancer treatment. She wanted to apply a cream to her back and had to ask for her son's assistance. Thinking that other people might be in the same position as her, Marva decided to work on potential for a product that would be of help for people in pain and needed to reach to tricky places.
Marva product has a rubber handle for easy grip, a long plastic stem and a replaceable, washable sponge head for the cream.

I wanted to create something that would be easy to use even if you had arthritis and find it difficult to hold things. Self-employed Marva also the Founder of the Millennum women is also working on other inventions.
