the biggest street party in Europe, the Notting Hill Carnival
took place in London, the inaugural Calabar Festival took
place in the Calabar Cross Rivers State in Nigeria.

cultural display, costume, pomp and pageantry was there for
all to see and enjoy.

like the famous Notting Hill Carnival, music was also at
the heart of the Calabar Festival as Calabarian came out
to showcase their rich cultural heritage for the world to
see.

Opinion: This festival of culture could be well packaged
and made an annual event which Calabar nay Nigerian sons
and daughters all over the world can attend and be proud
of.
