The
evening was a parade of who is who in the Nigerian football
circle from the newly appointed Sports Minister, Mr Stephen
Akiga, NFA boss, Maj. Gen. Dominic Oneya (rtd.), Chief Segun
Odegbami as well as socialites like Terry Waya, Abdulsamad
Rabiu, Turaki Gulab, Prince Aderemi and a host of others.

The
players and their officials who were treated to Nigerian
delicacies were not disappointed when it came to the fund
raising for the team, as over £20,000 was raised during
the night with Terry Waya and Abdulsamad Rabiu promising
the team up to £250,000 as they progress in the competition.
There were other generous donations from well meaning Nigerians
present at the epic event.
