Recently, all the road to Victoria Island, Lagos Nigeria was held to standstill, as stars, celebrities, VIPs turned up to support the less privilege people in the society at STARS ON THE RUNWAY Fashion Show.

STARS ON THE RUNWAYis a fashion show with a difference, featuring celebrities and stars from Nigeria on the Runway wearing and exhibiting creations from the best of Nigerian designers to showcase African fashion to the world and also raise money for charitable causes.

The momentous event featured 60 celebrities outfitted by 12 designers at the Lagoon Restaurant on Victoria Island.

The UK edition will take place sometime in November (or December) 2007 at a prestigious venue in London. The UK show will feature, as usual, celebrities and designers from Nigeria in 5 categories including the "Away Away" category, for British born (and raised) celebrities with Nigerian heritage. For the first time, SOTR will also be presenting 'guest celebrities' from other parts of Africa and from the United States.
